The versatile mixed-media network modules can have up to two fixed LAN interfaces and two user-configurable WAN interfaces. The fixed LAN interface resides on the main board and is used in two Ethernet configurations. The first Ethernet port supports 10BaseT and AUI connectors while the second Ethernet port supports 10BaseT connectors only.
The main board has two expansion slots for the WAN interface cards. The supported WAN modules include the 5-in-1 high-speed serial, ISDN BRI with S/T and U interfaces, and 1-port 4-wire 56 kbps DSU/CSU. The WAN high speed interface supports speeds up to 2.048 Mbps, full-duplex. This module provides you with a flexible solution to unite your mixed-media networks.
